CLOSING TIME

The fog is embracing me. Erecting walls around me. Places well know are seen anew. The sounds approach in muted waves. Fencepoles, paths and masts appear like floating sculptures. Usually anonymous objects are left without competition. Everything is out of focus. Everything appears more clearly,

The sun burns through and the magic is broken.
